Searching by radical

Note: Searching from the  Radical input box  is disabled while the  Readings List  is loaded into memory. Click the button to the right of Clear List >  -  (when visible) to unload the Readings List from memory.

Input one of the 214 radical numbers into the  Radical input box  and click   Search .

If you are not sure about the radical, click the   ?  button to the right of the  Radical input box .

The  Radical  window will open and display radical stroke counts.

Choose the proper stroke count by a single-click and select one of the radicals shown by a double-click, and then click   Search .

You may also open the  Radical list  immediately (without first choosing the stroke count) by scrolling down the  Radical window .
